The sun slowly set behind the hills, casting a warm glow across the sky. In our glasses shimmered a deep, ruby-red wine. The first sip was a revelation smooth, perfectly balanced, a taste that lingers in your memory.
Curious, we looked at the label. But there was nothing to be found online.
Surprised, we asked the owner where the wine was available. His answer was as simple as it was unexpected:
“This wine is not for sale. I make it only for myself and a few friends.”

That thought stayed with us, after our emigration, we returned to seek out the winemaker again.

He paused for a moment, then agreed on one condition:
“This wine must never be sold in supermarkets or big retail stores.
Only shared with those who truly appreciate authenticity and craftsmanship — like friends do.”
